Well, here they are!

The sleeves are back from the printers and they look absolutely amazing!

More progress....

As with the previous post these images show the final designs from a rough sketch posted a while back. These images are the front (top) and back covers (bottom).
The 5 designs are almost complete now and will go to print in the next week or so.
The album itself is about to be mastered and will go off to be pressed around the same time. Not long now!

In an earlier post there was a storyboard from one of the designers.
These images show the finished design with and without the scratch off ink layer.

Here we go again!

Here is the fourth installment of the vinyl art process.
This cover is complete except for the tracklisting, which will be finalised soon.
This design invites the owner to scratch off various parts of the artwork and add their own info.

Here is an early sketch of the third vinyl artwork.

In other news the album is in the final stages of mixing and will be sent off for mastering in the next couple of weeks.
The official release date is still pending but hopefully we will have confirmation soon.

Vinyl Artwork

The following posts will contain images which depict some of the designers artworks and ideas so far.....
Basically we got together and decided that all of the designers would create an artwork based on a unified concept. Each artwork would contain a single colour image which would be screen printed onto a cardboard stock. An additional layer of scratch-off ink would then be applied, which when scratched off would reveal the complete original image.
As you can imagine the options are endless and each artist has been hard at work creating their own individual take on this quite clever idea.
So anyhoo, here is a taste of what's to come......Enjoy!
